Bringing the outdoors in.
Living in spaces designed with biophilic principles enhances overall quality of life, leading to greater joy and vitality.
Namu is the first modular home that brings the connection to nature inside its walls, incorporating plants in all living spaces to nurture and heal its inhabitants. This creates a calming effect, and lowers cortisol levels and reduces stress by purifying air, absorbing toxins and releasing oxygen, and creating a generally cleaner, healthier indoor environment.
Namu is a journey of self-discovery and transformation, guided by the principle that by giving back to the earth, we can create a brighter, more generative future for all.
A daily does of nature.
The word biophilia embraces the idea that people have an innate tendency to look for connections with nature and other forms of life.
The biophilic design principles applied to Namu make it more than just a home, it is a sanctuary where natural materials, plants and organic forms blend with modern design. Thoughtfully integrated plants purify interior spaces, making them deeply therapeutic, reducing stress and improving overall well-being.

Atmospheric Water Extraction
Pull moisture from the air to create abundant water so clean and pure that you can drink it – and even use it to run your entire household.
THE GOLDEN RATIO
nurtured by nature

The Fibonacci spiral, or the ‘golden ratio’, is a logarithmic pattern found in nature that symbolizes natural order and balance in the universe and signifies the beauty and efficiency of creation.
Namu, meaning ‘wave’ in Japanese (波), was inspired with this concept in mind, and intentionally incorporates the golden ratio throughout its design. The connection to natural forms in Namu’s architecture creates a timeless design that is both mathematically precise and beautifully organic, creating spaces that feel harmonious, balanced, and connected.
With Namu, the harmony between humanity and the natural world is not just celebrated, it is lived.

Common Questions
Is Namu built to withstand harsh weather conditions?
Namu’s climate-resistant design allows it to stand unwavering against nature’s fiercest storms, powerful winds, and shifting seasons. By embracing natural materials, we create not only a dwelling but a refuge—one that nurtures well-being, purifies the air, and protects against harmful toxins. Strong, sustainable, and deeply connected to the earth, Namu is a home that weathers time with grace and strength.
What makes Namu different than other prefabricated homes?
All prefab homes offer the similar benefits such as higher-quality builds with fewer errors, shortened construction timelines, lowering energy consumption, and reduced site disturbance.
Namu approaches the prefabrication process from a different approach. Instead of producing homes as fast and as cheap as possible, our homes are constructed with natural and enduring materials – for a home is an investment in both beauty and resilience. Every element has been carefully selected, ensuring that each piece contributes to a sanctuary built to last.
Why does integrating nature throughout a home matter?

Namu integrates nature in and out of the home. Thoughtfully integrated plants purify interior spaces, making them deeply therapeutic, reducing stress, and improving overall well-being. Namu has fully embraced the ethos of generative living, not merely restoring the land upon which it rests but awakening its spirit—celebrating the wild beauty of nature and all the creatures that call it home.
